Though Israel is unfaithful to Him, God’s love for His chosen people is a loyal love, but it is also a jealous love.  God will not share the hearts of those who belong to Him with another.  Woven throughout Hosea’s message of condemnation for Israel's idolatry, is the constant refrain of God's passionate, unrelenting love toward His people.  God desires a loyal heart from those He has made His own.   Do we desire to give to Him the loyal heart He deserves?
